What is Softfox?

Softfox is an independent team of industry experts, each with a strong background in I.T. Softfox, headed up by Roger Foxcroft, provides solutions to companies with the speed and efficiency of a small company, but with the level of professionalism and expertise that results from hand picking an elite group.

Each member of the Softfox consultancy has been hand picked because they can add something to the group, and therefore to our clients. Their skills range across the board from development to project management, from web solutions to training. Any client that approaches Softfox can rest assured that members from the top of the I.T. tree will be working for them.

How long has Softfox been going?

Softfox has run now since 1997, and while it has grown in that time to accommodate changes in technology, it is still a small and efficient group.

How does Softfox operate?

Each member of the group has a certain skill set. When fulfilling a contract one or many members of the group may be involved in providing that solution. However, the contract with the client will be with Softfox, who will manage the resourcing for that contract.

Surely a load of industry experts will be expensive?

As always the end cost will depend entirely on the skills and expertise required, the expected duration of the project, and the number of people assigned to it. However, our clients find that our prices undercut many other professional services agencies, while our flexible and honest approach is very refreshing. It is in our interests to get your project going, not just to fulfill the contract, then cut-and-run.

How do I know I'll get what I want?

Your team will work directly with the consultant, or consultants involved to firstly specify what is required, and then to provide it. This specification will be the basis of a legal contract. Therefore all parties will know what is expected. Of course, specifications may change and new needs arise. This is natural, and we are flexible enough to change with the specifications. Indeed, we expect that a constant self-assessment and review of progress must take place in any project for that project to succeed. It is our aim to provide what you want and need.

OK, but can I personally vet your consultants before committing to anything?

It is natural that anyone who cares about their project would want to make sure that those working on it were indeed capable. All of our consultants can and will provide references and CVs so you can see that we can do what we say we can.
